Memories are fleeting, especially for an immortal creature that has lasted millenniums. What seems like, good or bad, they all fade after a century or two, and as a result, Toni finds that a lot of them repeat themselves. But there are two that stick out in her mind, no matter how much time passes.
WORST MEMORY
1) When the gods, namely Dionysus faded from the material world. While she knows he is still there, and continues to make tribute to him, the lack of his physical manifestations cuts deeply.
2) The one and only time she allowed herself to feel for a mortal. Generally they are viewed as playthings and a means to an end. But Elijah had been different. She, despite all logic, was in love with him, she'd been wandering alone for longer than she could put into words, and belief in creatures like herself and the god she worshiped had faded. He was a something she could hold onto, sink her claws into and never let go. Unfortunately, she was all too literal in that- in one of her frequent frenzied rages, her claws tore across Elijah who'd been in the wrong place. The venom killed him, and though over a century has passed, she is still haunted by his face.
OVERALL PERSONALITY Toni is, by nature, a wild one. As a follower of Dionysus, she embodies many of the attributes associated with the God of Wine. She is a whirlwind, chaotic, energetic, wild and constantly in a state of revelry. She exudes a charming allure and radiates a fierce sexual energy that draws people in. She is manipulative, a keen observer, and adept at exploiting the weakness in others to her own gains. There is a mischievous, trouble making side of her that comes out almost without thinking, and as a result, chaos often surrounds her. That being said, her charm and her overall outgoing nature aren't false, and humans and the occasional immortal are often more than willing to befriend her and get sucked in. Feeding off the energy of those around her (and a healthy dose of raw meat, preferably the hearts of men and children, though that's less likely to win her any favour), she is often found to be the life of the party, and is always at the center of something. She is a risk taker, an adrenaline junkie, and is never one to back down from a challenge or something new. She is not one to create roots, and even when she has settled in a location for a period of time, she is restless and traveling, always on the prowl for new tribute for her God. On the darker side, her quick and extreme temper often flare up unexpectedly, and can be disastrous for those mortals who get caught in the crossfire. She also had a tendency to get carried away, to be lost in the moment, and in this frenzied state, she has little to no control over her actions. [/blockquote]

OVERALL HISTORY [/blockquote]
Toni has had a long, and complex history, starting with her birth back in about 600BC in Greece- though she remembers little of that time, at least not the particulars. She is, strictly speaking, a Nymph that brought into the service of Dionysus, and knows little to nothing about the time before she was one of the Maenad. She has seen the world change, empires fall and humanity thrive, and it all means little to her. Years can trickle slowly or eons can rush by in a blink. Generally speaking, her life focuses on two parts, and always has. The first is gathering tribute for Dionysus. If she had to have a job, that would be it, full time. The rest of her time is generally spent having fun in whatever way she can find. Luckily the two things often go hand in hand. Really, if you had to pick, being a Maenad is a pretty easy gig. She has never stayed in one place long, especially in the early years when she left Greece after the Gods began to take leave. The world was smaller then, and someone who never appeared to age and who left chaos in her wake was bound to stand out. Though it wasn't easy to kill her, she would rather not have to deal with it. So she was a wanderer, slipping in and out of communities like a ghost. As human settlements grew, and she made her way across Europe, and eventually over the seas to America (believe me, you would not have wanted to be on the ship she came over on, it's a miracle they made it all with the ruckus she caused), Toni found she could stay in one place longer. It was getting easier and easier to pass by unnoticed for longer, and she found that she could stick around more. She loved bigger cities, and in the past 200 years has bounced between places like LA, New York and Vegas, where the energy is high, and the population is more prone to sinking into the mires that she creates. She likes to take credit for the popularity of the whole 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” thing- if you ask her, it was a nice, respectable town before she stopped by. Screw the mobsters and casinos, Toni likes to think she created the original sin city. There have been few things that differ, though exciting, her life does have a certain routine to it. She was originally drawn to the town because of the energy. There aren't too many humans, which makes things challenging, and ensures that she will continue her nomadic ways to an extent, though for the time being, she has made a home of sorts here. The excess of other creatures is interesting, and while more challenging, she does love when she can snare some of the so called 'monsters' in her web. She's not had any success so far, but she figures the werewolves and vampires were human once, they have to be susceptible on some level. It makes for an interesting project at least. More importantly, though they may not all know it yet, Toni knows a God when she see them, and the town seems to be bringing in more of them. So long as there are humans around, and big cities she can escape to when she needs a little more oomph in her repertoire, it seems like a good fit for her. She has only been in the town for four years, and she knows she will eventually have to leave before she draws too much attention to herself, but that is something to consider for a later day, in the meantime, she has enrolled at the local college, the 'student' seeming like a good enough cover to maintain her presence there.

ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE [/blockquote]
Anders smiled as he took his gloves, slipping them into his pockets rather than putting them back onto his hands. He hardly needed them in the mild weather. The woman was familiar, she was a teacher at the school, he knew that much, though he couldn’t recollect if he’d ever actually spoken to her. Normally he didn’t have much dealings with the teaching staff at the school, as small as the campus was, there still wasn’t much mingling between all the staff there in various capacities. He ran into the counselors enough, though that was usually when they were bringing in students. The interactions seemed to really only come when one or more parties took an interest in creating a social bond, so aside from the nurses and paramedic he worked with directly, Peter, and the handful of friends he had made among the staff, his interaction was fairly limited. She was familiar enough though, he’d seen her in the infirmary more than most, talking with one of the two blonde nurses. He assumed they must be friends of some sort, and never thought much more about it. Which of course lead to the awkward moment here, when he wasn’t sure if he should know her name or not. Had Anah ever actually spoken about her, introduced her? He had to admit, it was entirely possible, though he had an unfortunate habit of occasionally tuning the young woman out. So he very well could have missed it. Anders could either just bite the bullet and ask, risking making a fool of himself, or act as though he knew exactly who she was, and figure that out at a later date. That seemed like the better option, it’s not like it would be hard to figure out, she was British for goodness sake, there couldn’t be that many British ex-pats wandering around Agnes.
Yes, pretend he was sure about her name and her position at the school and sort it all out later. That seemed like the best option. He watched as the mother lead her little boy away, murmuring softly to him and shrugged his broad shoulders at her comment. “ He wasn’t the first wailing child I’ve had to examine, and god knows probably won’t be the last. I suppose you get a certain panache for it after the years.” he said, his tone about as humble as it would ever get. Which, for the record, wasn’t all that humble. Anders had, as so many surgeons did, an ego that could rival the gods themselves. At least when it came to anything related to medicine. And why the hell shouldn’t he? Just because he’d chosen to leave his scalpel to the side for now, it didn’t make him any less skilled, and damn it, there were some things he was just damn good at. Bedside manner? Aced it. Well, if you asked him of course, what other people may say was irrelevant to him on that matter.
He raised an eyebrow as he turned to look back at the woman, seeing her looking almost wistfully at the departing family and letting out a sigh. Well that was an odd reaction to have, for him at least. Anders would never consider the possibility looking at the little scene and wishing that they had that. The thought simply had never crossed his mind. Children in general didn’t, aside from when they were tinier versions of patients. It wasn’t that he didn’t like kids, in fact, he was fairly good with them in general, or that he didn’t want them for himself. He had just never really considered it. When his ex wife had brought up the idea in passing years back, he dismissed it at the time. He was just starting his career, pulling ridiculous hours, he barely had time for her, let alone a child. Now that he had the time, the inclination and the partner weren’t there. Perhaps he would consider it, if and when he ever settled down again, but until that time, it just wasn’t something that occupied his mind. He was neither for nor against it, the whole issue was fairly nonexistent to him. So watching someone else staring longingly after a kid wasn’t something he was able to compute. So he wrote the whole thing off as just a little odd.
His smile broadened when she spoke again, and he let out a little laugh. “ Ah well, yes, yes I am. What can I say, it just comes naturally to some. I was actually thinking I should have that put on my business cards. A nice little italics under my credentials. “Everyday Hero’.” he said with joking good humor.
