Heavy bass thumped loudly through the club, and Toni could feel her heart beating in time. Her skin shone with a thin sheen of sweat as her body moved rhythmically to the music blaring out of the speakers. She could say one thing about this decade, and that was that they sure knew how to party. It wasn't quite as good as the sixties, and certainly not the cocain filled chaos of the eighties, but the music was good, and there seemed to be a willingness to cut loose and experiment. The club was an element that she felt at home in, the liquor, the sex, the energy. It oozed out of people and washed over her. Hell, she didn't even need to push them to let loose, they did it on their own, though perhaps they ended up a little more wild when she happened to be there.
Pressed between two bodies, she moved with complete abandon, swept away in the moment. It took a few more songs before she decided to step away, it was a heady combo, and she didn't want to get overwhelmed. She slipped from between her dance partners and left the floor. She spared a glance back to the two men, who she knew for a fact were straight as arrows, were now dancing just as suggestively and exuberantly with each other as they had been with her. She let out a small laugh watching as one grabbed the ass off the other, wondering if she should give them that last little nudge to send them over the top. She turned her back on them and slinked towards the bar. A little smile at the bartender, and she had a drink in hand, and she turned back to watch the dancefloor, her dark eyes drinking in all the commotion.
